As you travel through this web site, you will learn about the lives of children during the American Revolution. Depending where these children lived, their lives were affected very differently. They could have been hurt emotionally, mentally, and physically. Some children even had jobs in the war. They were bugle boys, drummer boys, messengers, or in some cases, soldiers. Even though you wouldn't think the bugle boys, drummer boys, and messengers suffered as much as the solders did, they suffered just as much. The children got hurt and sick, they were away from their families, and on top of that, they were only kids. Can you imagine what it would be like to be a child in this horrible war?
