English Children
The children who lived in Great Britain were greatly less affected that the children who lived in the colonies. They didn't experience the war like the children who lived in the colonies did. Even though they were not watching the war, they were still affected greatly. These children would hear about the war through the news papers and their parents. The children who were old enough to understand the concept of the war sometimes even has political views on it because of their parents. Some of the children who lived in Great Britain had to deal with one of their family members being away at war. Another hardship of the war for Britain children was that they were in the dark for a lot of the war. A lot of them didn't know if Britain was winning or losing the war. They were also in dark with whether or not their parents were alive or not. Some of the children`s parents went to America to be solders in the war. Imagine how hard it would be if your father went away to war and you'd did not know if you would ever see him again. The children would get telegrams saying that there father or mother had died if they had.
